From public records, across 7+ jurisdictions, nearly 20 years
The Corinth Group of Switzerland: Fees, Lies and Corporate Disguises
Martin Walter Model, Jurate Kairiene, Alec Louw Theunissen and associated individuals and entities are linked to a multi-decade pattern of an advance-fee funding scam spanning Switzerland and the UK, involving family members and a network of corporate entities.
The reported pattern is consistent:
Promises of institutional-grade investment funding running into the millions, substantial upfront fees and deposits, funding never materialises, contractual obligations not honoured, followed by successive corporate names and a recurring business model.
20 years. Multiple victims. 7+ jurisdictions. No clients funded. No commitment honoured. Same pattern. Same playbook. Same people
“Martin Model is well known within this up-front scam industry…”

Public interest notice
This public interest notice concerns Martin Walter Model, Jurate Kairiene, Alec Theunissen and other individuals and entities associated with the Corinth Group of Switzerland. It is published due to a highly documented pattern of commercial and individual conduct that reflects a serious lack of integrity, accountability and ethical business practices. Such conduct includes collecting fees for services that were not delivered, failing to honour contractual obligations, issuing commitments that were subsequently reversed, ignoring multiple deadlines, and the apparent transition from one corporate entity to successor entities while outstanding liabilities remained unresolved.
The documentary record examined for this website spans nearly 20 years, various jurisdictions and multiple independent complaints, with reported losses running into millions of euros. The Corinth Group and associated parties have avoided legal and financial accountability despite extensive efforts by affected parties to resolve matters privately and amicably. Their conduct reflects a deliberate and sustained course of deceptive behaviour characterised by false assurances, broken promises, shifting narratives and repeated attempts to evade accountability for acknowledged obligations.
Taken together, the evidence raises serious issues concerning fraud, deceptive representations, unlawful retention of funds and coordinated fraudulent conduct across entities and jurisdictions. Despite making multiple commitments to fulfil those obligations, their actions reflect a complete lack of professionalism, integrity and good faith in commercial and personal dealings.
Personal experiences of affected parties further demonstrate a sustained pattern of deceptive and duplicitous conduct, indicating that this behaviour was not isolated or accidental, but formed part of a broader pattern designed to retain confidence, delay accountability and avoid the consequences of outstanding obligations. Viewed collectively, the allegations suggest a culture of dishonesty and manipulation in which commitments appear to have been used as tools to secure trust, time and financial benefit, while responsibility for delivery and restitution was repeatedly avoided.
The documented conduct and allegations outlined above warrant serious criminal, regulatory and civil investigation by the relevant authorities.

The People Behind the Operation
Every key position in the Corinth network is held by a family member or a trusted associate. Martin Model controls everything and appears in no corporate register. His wife signs for the Swiss companies, his sons hold the UK vehicles, his daughter sits on the Credit Committee and his sister signed for C-Capital until 2025. Alec Theunissen runs the UK operation with his son Brendton, directing the UK companies and dealing with complainants after fees are paid - delivering the delays and excuses.

Did you wire funds to Corinth? Contact your bank’s fraud department now.
If you paid, act now: preserve every agreement, email and payment record, and ask your bank about tracing, recall and any reimbursement scheme. Report your own experience to the police and the regulator.
US Victims — File with the FBI (IC3).
Complainants report that Corinth induced advance-fee payments based on representations of imminent funding — funding that never materialised. If you wired funds from a US bank, file an Internet Crime Complaint at ic3.gov. Select “Wire Fraud” (18 USC §1343). Include: beneficiary name, dates and the term sheet containing the refund clause.
I. The Pattern: The Same Sequence, Told Again and Again.
Complainants from different countries and years describe a strikingly similar sequence:
The Promise
Up to €500M in funding within 45 days of signing. 3% interest. Flexible drawdown. Backed by Bank of America and “large amounts of gold in collateral.” You cannot see the contracts until after you sign the term sheet and pay. No references — you must “trust and respect the relationship.” The same story, recycled to dozens of complainants over more than a decade.
The Fee
€30,000–€80,000 upfront as a “due diligence” deposit, refundable under Article 26 (see the clause). A faux process: no complainant ever saw a due diligence report and no complainant ever “failed” DD. For larger facilities: €350,000 security deposits for LDF 1 (€50K upfront + €300K on signing) or €5,000,000 for LDF 2. Several complainants report total losses exceeding €400,000.
The Wait
The UK “Transaction Office” was, according to complainants, extremely and deliberately slow. Alec made repeated errors and went unresponsive for weeks — behaviour complainants believe was instructed by Martin. Once contracts were signed: months of reassurances, Letters of Comfort, instructions to start projects, engage EPCs and get everything moving — deepening financial and emotional commitment.
The Excuse
At the last minute: a “major event” stops funding. “Bank of America withdrew.” “War in Iran.” “Trump tariffs.” The exact same script, delivered to different clients across different years. Escape clauses invoked. No evidence ever provided. When complainants asked for proof, Martin Model would shout and cry about “respect” and how he “cannot deal with people who ask such things.” Alec told clients to “piss off.” Both are described as having extremely bad tempers.
Silence. Threats. Burnout.
Corinth goes silent. They rely on complainants burning out. Those who keep pushing get threats instead of refunds: explosive anger and unprofessional behaviour, and letters from Corinth's lawyer warning them off. No complainant known has been paid back.
All allegations attributed to identified third-party complainants. The numbered pattern reflects the consistent account described in multiple reported complaints across various jurisdictions and years.
Broker Marketing and Outreach Channels
Corinth has used various broker channels to market its facilities. For example, the advertisement below, posted on Facebook on 25 March 2024 by a trade-network page, offers funding from a “group of companies in Switzerland” of “10 Million to 1 Billion” under four facility names: LEF-1, LEF-2, LDF-1 and LDF-2. These are the names of the Corinth Group's own facility templates — LEF 2 (Loan Equity Facility), LDF 1 (Security Deposit Cash Facility) and LDF 2 (Debenture SBLC Facility).
The advertisement promises “No upfront fees”. Corinth's term sheet requires a EUR 80,000 Cost Contribution before any transaction proceeds, and its LDF facilities require security deposits of €350,000 and €5,000,000. The first thing a prospective client is told is contradicted by the first document they are asked to sign.

What Corinth actually charges
| Facility / situation | Amount |
|---|---|
| Historical / general advance fee | €30,000–€80,000 |
| Article 26 Cost Contribution | €80,000 |
| LDF 1 | €350,000 — €50k + €300k |
| LDF 2 | €5,000,000 |
| Certain complainant total losses | €400k+ |
II. The Contract — A Refund Clause Never Honoured
No known client has ever received a refund under this clause.
Article 26 of the Corinth Group term sheet requires the applicant to pay a Cost Contribution of EUR 80,000 and provides for its full refund within seven banking days if Corinth aborts the transaction for any reason.
“The Applicant is obligated to provide Corinth with a Cost Contribution in the amount of EUR 80,000 (Eighty thousand).”
“If the Due Diligence as outlined under point 27 above is not to the satisfaction of Corinth, or if Corinth decides to abort the transaction for any reason whatsoever the Capital Contribution in the amount of EUR 80,000.00 (eighty thousand Euros) paid by the Applicant will be refunded in full and without deduction of any costs within 7 (seven) banking days.”

III. Documented Red Flags — What the Records Show
01 Licensed Funds It Does Not Have
cgoch.com still promises funding through “registered and licensed Investment Funds”. The only licence the network ever held — a CySEC AIFM authorisation — was revoked on 3 October 2022, and the Corinth Capital RAIF (RAIF31) was dissolved in January 2023. No Corinth entity has ever held FINMA authorisation. The claim remains online.

02 A Showcase Deal That Never Happened
Corinth's flagship credential — a USD 100M investment in Morepen Laboratories announced in April 2021 — left no trace in Morepen's shareholding. Morepen has stated directly that the transaction did not proceed as described. It is the only Corinth investment PitchBook records. The earlier Addvalue Technologies proposal involved Pytheas in 2008–09. Addvalue reported in 2009 that it terminated the agreement after Pytheas failed to meet pre-completion conditions despite repeated extensions.

03 Eight Director Departures, Seven Individuals
Companies House records eight director departures by seven individuals at Three Tuns Investment Holdings Ltd between 20 September 2022 and 31 December 2024. Trevor Du Preez left twice, after two separate appointments. These departures did not occur within 48 hours or coincide as a group with the June 2023 rebrand. The records establish the dates, not the reasons for leaving.

04 Licence Revoked in Seven and a Half Months
CySEC granted Corinth Fund Management's AIFM licence in early 2022 and revoked it on 3 October 2022. Its notice of 11 November 2022 states that the company no longer met authorisation conditions: it failed the €125,000 initial-capital/own-funds requirement and the requirement for at least two people to decide how the business is conducted.
05 A Borrowed Heritage
All six Swiss AGs are pre-existing companies from unrelated trades — photography, architecture, trading, consulting — acquired and renamed between 2018 and 2025. The “founded in 1977” story belongs to a camera business. Corinth branding dates only from October 2018.

06 Five Names, One Operation
APAHML → Arcis Consortium (also recorded as Arcis Consilium) → Curatio Capital → Corinth Group → Three Tuns. Several changes of name followed public complaints or regulatory events. The principals, the Chur address at Stadtgartenweg 6 and the method have not changed. Complainants name Martin Model in every iteration, 2014–2026.

07 Companies Created to Be Discarded
35+ UK companies have been run under a single director, Alec Theunissen. More than 30 are dissolved, struck off or in liquidation. They are opened, used and closed.
[Companies House]
08 The Controller Who Signs Nothing
Martin Model holds no directorship and no significant-control entry in any register. His wife signs for all six Swiss AGs, his sons hold the UK vehicles and his sister signed for C-Capital until 2025. Complainants identify him as the person who makes every decision.
[Swiss Commercial Register; UK Companies House]
09 Disputed Debts in the Swiss Enforcement Register
Claims of CHF 1,697,500 against Corinth Investments AG (August 2022) and CHF 85,334.65 against Corinth Investment Holdings AG (January 2024) — both contested by Corinth — and cantonal tax claims in 2023 settled only through the enforcement office.

IV. Still Collecting Fees — 2026
Corinth Management Services AG is still known to be collecting “Cost Contribution” advance fees from new clients as recently as March 2026. At the time these fees were being collected:
- UK Entity Under HMRC Winding-Up. Corinth Management Services Limited was already subject to HMRC's compulsory winding-up petition (filed 18 November 2025) — wound up by court order January 2026. Sole director: Alec Theunissen. Zero accounts filed in 6+ years.
- £72,749.04 in Wage and Holiday-Pay Awards. The Employment Tribunal ordered Corinth Management Services Limited to pay three former employees in its Rule 21 judgment dated 18 June 2022: cases 2304952/2021, 2304953/2021 and 2304954/2021. The judgment establishes the awards; it does not establish their current payment status. A further former employee reports: “About 8 of us are owed salaries.” Published Employment Tribunal judgment.
- Swiss Enforcement Claims — Never Communicated by Corinth. CHF 1,697,500 and CHF 85,334.65 claimed against Corinth AGs in the Swiss debt-enforcement register and disputed by Corinth — claims which are never communicated by Corinth.
- Multiple Complainants Across Jurisdictions. Independent fraud allegations on Ripoff Report (2014, 2016, 2024), Diebewertung.de (2018), Verbraucherschutzforum (2018) and others. Pattern spans nearly 20 years.
- No Complainant Ever Funded. Across all complainants — nearly 20 years, five corporate identities — not one has ever received the promised funding.
